Covid-19 Rapid igG/igM Antibody Test.... such a great tool to evaluate patients immunity, exposure and risk. As Coronavirus penetrates deeper into our community our #1 goal is safety of our patients and team. Knowledge is power. We’ve had patients with NO history of illness/symptoms have the antibody. Others who swore they had it in Feb/Mar that did not not. This test gives us a nice time stamp-tool to navigate these challenging times. Stay safe, wear your mask, know you...r status. We will get through this. . . . . . . . . . . #heardimmunity #bestdentistoc #gotheextramileforothers #knowyourstatus #sukutdental #costamesa #newportbeach #moderndentistry #orangecounty @ Sukut Dental

May 14, 2020 Dear Patient Family, We hope this message finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. ... While many things have changed, one thing at Sukut Dental has remained the same: our constant commitment to your safety and health. As you have surely seen during your visits to our office, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our strict processes have consistently made the care you receive at Sukut Dental both safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We continue to closely monitor the recommendations of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. Sincerely, Drs. Albert, Karly, Pancer and team. . . . . . . . . . #monderndenistry #dentaloffice #orangecounty #dentalveneers #cosmeticdentistry #orangecountyca #dentistlife #sukutdental #socal #dentist #femaledentist #orangecountymoms

When it is time for your next appointment, you may see some changes along with our already strict infection control protocols: Our office will communicate with you ahead of your appointment to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office. We will ask that you wear a mask to your appointments. (if you don’t have one, one will be provided).... When entering the office, we will take your temperature and we will ask you to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer which we will supply. You may see that our reception area will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and other items which cannot be properly disinfected. We may request that you may wait in your car and be texted when we are ready to bring you directly to the treatment area. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered slightly limited options for scheduling your appointment. Prior to your dental treatment we will have you rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide. We will do our best to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the office at any one time. Our air current air filtration system has been updated to Surgically Clean Air filtration units for the whole office. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends in the safest way possible. . . . . . . . #dentaloffice #orangecounty #smilemakeover #monderndenistry #orangecountyca #dentistlife #sukutdental #socal #dentist #femaledentist #orangecountymoms

Fun fact: 1949--In the midst of the polio epidemic--a disease that placed tens of thousands of children inside iron lungs, and many thousands more around the co...untry quarantined at home--a young San Diego schoolteacher named Eleanor Abbott invented Candy Land, one of the most popular board games of all time. Abbott created the game inside a polio ward, as a patient herself, with the hope of giving the immobilized children around her a momentary sense of freedom and mobility. As a way of further connecting with the kids, Abbott featured on the game board an illustration of a boy with a leg brace. Milton Bradley was quick to buy the game from Abbott. And to this day, Candy Land continues to be popular, more than 65 years after the disease was eradicated. Of course so many of us played this game as kids, but I found the back story fascinating. Who knew ? Makes me wonder ...what will be invented from this pandemic? See more

March 30th, 2020 Dear Patient Family, Hope this note finds you all safe and well. We miss you!... We wanted to update you that as a result of the "shelter in place" mandate through April 19, we now have a NEW tentative return date of April 20. Unfortunately, this date is subject to change as well based on further mandates from state, local and federal officials. We are reducing our phone hours during this time. But Please know that we are still available for dental emergencies and can be reached via our office phone number (714)540-6852. For "non-urgent" needs please leave a voicemail, text message or email us at [email protected] and we will respond as soon as we are able. Follow the directions on our voicemail for all "urgent or emergency" needs. All of you have been beyond kind and understanding during all of this scheduling and rescheduling (Chris is grateful!) It is creating quite a back log of appointments that we are working to accommodate in the months to follow. We are eager to get back into our routines, we miss the daily interaction with our patients. For now, we have turned off our "appointment reminder system" that sends text and email alerts. We will turn it back on once we are firm in our return date. Stay positive and healthy, updates to follow in the weeks to come. Thank you for your abundance of patience. Sincerely, Dr. Sukut, Karly & Pancer
