We are currently hosting Coyote Creek Too Lando to service the herd! Thank you Cassandra Johnson at Kaleb’s Acres! We will really miss Julie McCullogh and her fantastic breed quality.

Is Tacobell green the same as Tinkerbell green?

Life has been slightly crazy of late. That being said, I finally took a moment to read the lab results for the herd. We have an officially documented clean herd, that is closed and disease free.

Blood drawn! The herd will be tested this week. Results by Friday! We are a closed herd, and we know our goats are clean by parentage, this will give us papers to back our claim. Thanks to the crew for helping get er done!

Featured here is Pud’n, turning her lovely nose up away from Elisabeth-Anne Mabie. Thank you Beth. Pud’n is one of Sugar’s final set of twins retained by our farm. We are hoping she will rock the milk pail like her mama! Photo courtesy of Pepper Morgan. Thanks Pep!

Meet Rose. This is a doe out of Kastdemur’s Matsuri bred by War Cry Nubians in Hesperia Ca. We are very excited to see how she develops. Thank you Pepper Morgan for the great shot of Jessie and Rose taken at Mabie’s Farm.

Senior herd doe Aurora. Aurora is one of Sugar’s first twins. We sold her early on and acquired her back as an adult. Love those chocolate ears! As we lost Sugar to the tragedy of CL prior to purchasing our farm, Aurora has replaced Sugar as our foundation Doe.

Grace, shown by Jessica, what a fabulous 2yo ff looks like. Grace Blessed is with triplets in true goat code fashion nearly two weeks early. She is rocking it in the milk parlor and setting a great pace to keep up with our seasoned Doe Aurora.

Hillview Homestead Ezekiel. Proven stinky, sexy buck. Zeke is sired by Tamris Farm Ruby’s Obsidian out of a lovely 6M Galaxy beed Doe. He is feeling a little eager in this photo but stands very straight and nice when wooing the girls. Pm to add him to your herd.

Azazel Avon’s Temptation. Proven sire, excellent temperament. Kids came out a rainbow of colors, as many as triplets. He is available. Photo courtesy of Pepper Morgan

Good morning, Happy New Year, we had a Blessed and Wonderfully Merry Christmas! Some decisions have been made about our herd that are due to the stroke I had. Since having been struck by CL over two years ago and being blessed to save Sugar’s genetics, the herd has grown to 9 does and 3 bucks. Marshmallow and Tulip have already been placed in another herd, that takes us down to 7 does. We will also be letting go of Sno and Hope, leaving us with only 5 does, Aurora, Rose, Gra...ce, Pud’n & Bonnie. We produced 4 kids this year, a single doe and 3 bucks which will become wethers tomorrow. They are already for sale. Two of our 3 bucks have also been placed for sale and we will be parting with the third, Zeke, Romeo and Temptation. Our farm was not able to make a presence at any craft shows or boutiques last fall as a result of the stroke and even though my progress is amazing, I believe next fall may be out as well. We are keeping one Doe in milk from this winters freshening. We are also leasing two of our does to another herd so we can see what their progression is. Slowly, I will begin making products from our farm again, but probably not until after tax season. My brain has recovered from the stroke to almost 95 percent. I am still struggling with endurance. I will update this post with pictures as I am able. See more
