Christmas Eve brought a special donation to our shelters. Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputies Mendoza (not pictured) and Zambrano. They brought by a holiday gift for all the kids... new shoes! This donation is especially meaningful as Deputy Mendoza was a resident of Su Casa’s shelter as a child as his mother was creating a better life for her family.

Looks like Santa popped in early... wait, that’s Councilman Daryl Supernaw dropping off toys for the boys and girls who call Su Casa home this holiday. Thank you Councilman!

Desmond Thompson, fleet manager - Lexus of Cerritos and Chairman of the Board of the Cerritos Regional Chamber of Commerce hand over 2 boxes of toys to Su Casa staff. The toys are donated to the boys and girls who call Su Casa home for the holidays. We thank you and your generous toy donors.

We had the honor to attend Congressman Alan Lowenthal’s Justice in Policing in Policing Online Public Forum Wednesday July 15. Among the presenters were Congresswoman Karen Bass & Chair of Congressional Black Caucus, Councilman Al Austin and Councilman Rex Richardson.

We went to the mailbox and found a special donation from ProCure Hope NYC... a box of disposable masks. With the upturn in virus activity, we want to ensure our staff and participants have all the supplies they need for their health and safety.
