As you can imagine, the business of indoor mini golf isn't possible right now! During COVID (and maybe beyond!) we are turning our store in San Francisco into a cool boba tea shop, called Tea Square Boba. We are using the best ingredients and carefully dialed-in recipes, so while this is a pop-up, every drink will be top-notch and up to and beyond your expectations.... This will not effect our plans to re-open as Subpar once California gives us the go-ahead, but anything you buy from Tea Square will ensure we can come back strong! We will share links to our delivery partners, our pick-up menu, and website, when we go live, tomorrow at 12:00 noon. Thanks everyone for your support during this tough time!

Subpar Miniature Golf is now (for the moment) Tea Square Boba! All- COVID times has been rough for businesses, and especially hard on small businesses like ours. Indoor activity spaces really are among the last businesses slated for reopening. So in the meantime, we're changing it up! We are planning to bring you, starting on September 8th, Tea Square Boba - a new Boba Tea and Cold Brew Milk Tea concept pop-up that will start operations out of the Ghirardelli Square storefron...t where you used to find us. We're getting expert help and perfecting the recipes to get you a quality product we know you'll enjoy, and as a bonus, everything you buy from Tea Square will help ensure that Subpar comes back strong when the world is ready for us! And Subpar WILL return. Tea Square won't permanently supplant Subpar, but may become a part of it, or even its own thing. But we promise, someday soon, Miniature Golf will come back to the square. Until then, pop on by and grab a tea, won't you?

In these uncertain times we know when you’re not looking to pop artists to show you how to wash your hands or network tv actors to explain social distancing, you look to you local Miniature Golf Course to explain to you how to bend the curve. It makes sense- we have, after all, googled COVID 19 at least twice. In all seriousness, we are really lucky to have you all as customers, and we want you to know, that when the time is right, and the law directs, we will be back up... and running at Ghirardelli Square. We have coordinated with the square, and made the adjustments necessary to ensure our return. We hope you’ll come join us when we do! Things might look a little different than you’re used to- you may have to wear a mask, and you will need to keep tighter control of your group as you play- but the good times are coming back before you know it. This afternoon Governor Newsom has asked that businesses such as ours close to help restrict the spread of COVID-19. In the interest of Public Health we will close tonight (Sunday 3/15) at 8pm, and we will remain closed until further notice- once the local and state governments give us the green light to re-open.
