We all have our favorite routes, the ones we return to when we need a challenge paired with familiarity. Our backyard has some of the best rides for road, gravel, and mountain biking in the Bay Area and beyond. One of our current (and all-time) favorites is the Marin Headlands loop, which is excellent as a regular or recovery ride. We’ve been getting a lot of questions about the benefits of having an indoor trainer and whether they’re worth investing in. We thought we’d break down exactly why we love the new @wahoofitnessofficial Kickr and why it’s certainly something to include in your riding routine. 1. Fist and foremost, they’re awesome. You can ride in your own home without sacrificing the challenge of riding outside! Gone are the days of boring indoor rides and lurchy, unstable trainers. 2.... Efficiency is the name of the game. The Kickr allows you to do an hour and a half ride in an actual hour and a half. That means no junk miles and no break in your flow due to stop signs or lights. Meet the newly redesigned @mootscycles Routt RSL! What exactly is different about the 2021 Routt RSL? Well, we’re about to tell you. While this latest version is still built with the RSL tube set and 3D printed dropouts, it now has an updated geometry with a slightly slacker head tube and a longer top tube. If that’s not enough, it now also has clearance for 45mm tires. So basically everything you need in a modern gravel bike! Greetings from the SV Team! We are reaching out to express our gratitude for your continued support during what is easily the most challenging period the bicycle industry has ever seen. While we are still weathering dramatic supply chain issues and shipping blunders due to Covid related factory shut downs, fires and demand spikes, we are happy to say that we are seeing glimmers of light at the end of the tunnel. Our service department has managed to not only accommodate... extreme demand but they’ve done so in an environment that’s unprecedented. Even the simplest things like tubes and brake pads have, at times, been difficult to find. We tip our hats to Bret and Stef for their diligence, composure and, of course, their expertise!
