103rd lesson " Jackson Blues" arrangement 2 recorded and performed by Dunya (10 years old) My niece Dunya is currently working on Level 4 of Simply Music program. Her repertory consists of over 60 pieces in all genres. We have not introduced reading yet. The objective of Simply Music Method is to establish music as a natural self expression. We treat reading as a separate skill not required for the initiation into musicianship. Efficient learning creates space for independent projects - Dunya comes every week with something she has arranged and recorded of her own accord.

Learning is achieved through repetition. Beware- EVERYTHING we repeat or are repeatedly exposed to becomes the programming. Understanding the difference between constructive and destructive is the filter against negative influences and/ or manipulation.

Simply Music Program is a playing based approach that has students of all ages playing great sounding contemporary, gospel, blues, classical and accompaniment pieces from their very first lessons.

"Night Storm" arrangement 2 by Neil Moore, arranged, recorded and performed by Dunya (9 years old) Very proud of Dunya. She brought this ellaborate version of this piece back to her very next lesson after learning it Dunya had 80 lessons so far. She is currently working on Level 3 of Simply Music Program. ... Lessons are once per week for 30 mins. All lessons are temporarily conducted on line.

Every song is a little bottle filled with emotion. Chose an uplifting song and feel your mood rise. Ability to play our favorites is the power to put ourselves in a state of presence and consciously create our moods. That is especially important in adulthood when toys and dolls stop working for us:)

Music uplifts our spirit and makes us dance When we play an instrument we have to focus on our fingers.The nature of human focus is that it can only hold one thought at the time. By focusing on our fingers we become present in the moment and all the other thoughts and their (negative) charge fall away.
