Everyone recognize our friend Carl here? His brother Charles lives with him on our back patio and to be honest? They havent been pulling their weight lately... All we ask is they scare a few kids in exchange for free rent... can it get any better than THAT?! But to be fair, we havent seen a kid in these parts in far too long. We havent opened yet and trust us when we say, we are just as devastated as every last one of you. ... Carl here has had a mask on for WEEKS waiting for his favorite customers to walk through those doors again. Because Carl knows they will. Carl knows that once his Landlord finds it socially, financially and morally responsible to open? He absolutely will. With the uncertainty that is the Restaurant Industry as of late, we decided to take this time to give our Humble Abode a massive sprucing up. Were taking top to bottom, front to back. Did you know the Diner has a secret second story?!?! Below your feet exists the heart of our operation- with offices, prep kitchens, storage and more. When we undertook all of our renovations, we figured we had at least a few months to do so. So when things opened up, we were caught by surprise! And we unfortunately weren't quite ready to serve our famous fare next to dusty chainsaws and fresh paint buckets. But we want to let every last one of our faithful patrons know, the renovations are nearly done. Chairs are going back to their places and new stoves are being wheeled into the final resting place. "So when are you opening?!?!" We wish we knew... we were confident in renovations being done this month. But now we face the terribly difficult decision every restaurant in America is facing- To Open or Not to Open. With COVID cases rising at alarming rates and almost crippling regulations being put on our industry, we have been weighing the benefits of opening right now. And the very difficult answer we came to was- Not to Open.... for now. We measured and assembled and measured again but with "Outdoor Seating Only" and a 6 FT requirement between tables... we would only be able to serve a handful of you at a time. That honestly sounds like a dream come true compared to our current closed doors, but when we get down to it. It just isn't financially responsible. So we continue to wait and we continue to get better. We are going to have this operation is TIP TOP shape for every last one when we finally get to open those doors. Because friends, we WILL OPEN OUR DOORS.... Maybe just a little later than we had all hoped.

We hate to do this to ya AGAIN!! But we had so much fun last time, we figured a little more torture wouldn't hurt. SO! Here comes Round 2 of- Studio Diner reopens, you walk through the door, anxious and ready to eat your favorite meal! The hostess stops you and says "You can only choose 3"... Which one has to go? 1. Biscuits & Gravy- House made buttermilk biscuits, baked fresh, topped with chopped pork sausage links and smothered in a house made country gravy 2. The Boob Sandwich- Marinated and Grilled Chicken breast, topped with melted jack cheese, fresh slices of avocado, crispy bacon strips, fresh lettuce and tomato slices. All on buttered and grilled sourdough bread. 3. Fish & Chips- One MASSIVE and delicate fillet of Icelandic Haddock (that we fly in from the east coast three times a week!) dipped in a house made batter, deep fried to perfection and served with a side of salty fries and creamy coleslaw. 4. Our Famous Banana Split!- A monster of a dessert! One sundae dish coated in hot fudge, a split banana served with Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry ice cream. Topped with chocolate syrup, strawberry sauce and caramel. Whip cream, chocolate sprinkles and a nut mix! Oh and don't forget the cherry!! Choose to eliminate one for good!!

We at Studio Diner are WORKIN HARD!!! We miss you all very much and with the exciting news of restrictions being lifted, were making moves! Were working hard to make sure we are compliant with all of the new regulations set in place by our mayor and while we may not be ready to open today, were getting very close! The hostess stops you and says "You can only choose 3" Which one has to go?... 1.The Lobster Roll- 8 ounces of REAL MAINE LOBSTER tossed with light mayo and chopped celery, served piled high on a buttered and grilled New England Roll? 2.Real Ice Cream Milk Shakes- Old Fashioned mixed milk shakes made with delicious ice cream, topped with whipped cream and a cherry , served in Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Cookies and Cream, Peanut Butter Banana, Rootbeer or Orange Creamsicle? 3.Ham Steak Eggs Benedict- Thick cut, Bone in Ham steaks, grilled to perfection! Topped with a toasted English muffin, Poached (to your liking) Eggs and our delicious house made Hollandaise Sauce! 4. Count of Monte Cristo- Ham, Turkey, Cheddar and Swiss cheese. Served on a traditional white toast, dipped in a house made batter, deep fried, dusted with powdered sugar and served with our incredible raspberry preserves?! Choose Wisely! *Disclaimer- We would never actually do this to anyone, you all mean far too much to us! Nor would we ever get rid of any of these delicious meals, because they too mean far too much to us! Cant wait to see you all again soon!

We are experiencing unprecedented circumstances with this pandemic. Even though we chose to temporarily close our doors, we still have each and every one of you on our minds and in our hearts. We will get through this, we will survive this, we will come out the other end and we will get back to business as usual. Cant wait to see you all on the other side. In the time being, what do you all do for quarantine fun? Because we don't quite know what to do with ourselves! Hello everyone! Boy do we miss each and every one of you! You haven’t forgotten about us, have you!? Our Studio Diner crew has been kickin back and enjoying some invaluable family time! But if we can all be honest- we’re missing the days of running around our bustling and happy restaurant. Refilling Coffee and slinging pancakes. Joking with our coworkers turned lifelong friends. Seeing the smiling faces of all the wonderful people who have kept us in business for all of thes...e years. So while we kick back in our PJ’s and watch yet another 6 hour Netflix binge, we all anxiously await the day we get to RE- OPEN! Keep up with us here and on Instagram for any and all updates regarding our temporarily closure due to the spread of Covid-19. We will be closely following the situation to safely determine when our date of reopening will be and we can NOT wait to see you all again SOON!

Studio Diner is on Hiatus starting April 6th, 2020 to do some remodeling and cleaning. We will Miss you all very much. Stay Safe & Healthy...Until we "Roll Cameras" again.
