It's #teachertuesday, and today we'd like to give a warm SRS shoutout to our 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Silva! Mrs. Silva has been teaching at SRS for 11 years, 7 of which have been in the 1st grade! Mrs. Silva says that her favorite part of teaching at SRS is the "feeling of family." She has been a parishioner for over 32 years, and she said once her personal and professional lives came together at SRS, she felt "complete and can live [her] faith completely." And fun fact . .... . did you know that Mrs. Silva' favorite place to visit is Reno?! That's where all three of her children live, and that's also where she gets to play with her 10-month old twin granddaughters! It's #teachertuesday, so please give a warm SRS shoutout to our incredible Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Hart! This is Ms. Hart's second year teaching at SRS, and she says what she loves most about teaching is "making each and every student feel extra special and giving them memories to last a lifetime!" And fun fact . . . did you know that when Ms. Hart was 5 years old, she won "Cutest Costume" in a competition for her Dorothy costume that her mom had handmade for her (and so f...ar three other family members have even worn the same costume!)?!
