Street Corner Care

On Saturday morning our Street Corner Care medical team walked the downtown area with medical volunteers from Cal State San Marcos, Azusa Pacific University, and Point Loma Nazarene University. This amazing group broke into two teams and treated 15 of our homeless neighbors. Tomorrow, our medical team will be out at the Dreams for Change Safe Parking Program lot meeting the medical needs of those living in their vehicles. We are thankful for such a wonderful team that compassionately cares for the vulnerable in our community.

Thankful for our caring Street Corner Care Team who came to the aid of one of our seniors in distress during our Sunday Ladle Fellowship meal. Their care and quick action helped to ensure that our Ladle guest received the immediate medical care that he needed. #streetcornercare

Breakfast Blessings! Jeff, one of our talented volunteer cooks prepared healthy breakfast meals for a recent Street Corner Care outreach with Dreams for Change & their Safe Parking Program (SPP). We are thankful for wonderful volunteers who are eager to bless others and the opportunity to share a warm & comforting breakfast of Oatmeal Fruit Muffins, Breakfast Loaf, and water with the awesome SPP participants. The Lord continues to grow this outreach beyond the vital medical care our Street Corner Care team provides and we are thankful for our partnership with Dreams for Change. We hope to make this a breakfast tradition and also add exercise & nutrition classes for the SPP participants in the future!
