He asked if I would contribute and I talked about not measuring just satisfaction, but instead research methods should use the natural language of consumers to determine what they love. Stop measuring satisfaction and measure experience. To make the point simple most research starts by asking the wrong questions using la...nguage that is not natural to the respondent. For example, we ask if customers are satisfied with a product or service and pretend that this is connected to advocacy, conquest and loyalty. Of new full-size pickup owners, 68% use theirs for recreational towing and 92% for carrying large items at least once a year, according to a survey of 30,000 truck owners from California-based automotive research consulting firm Strategic Vision.
