Craigslist $5 Charge For the Services category, Craigslist is now charging $5 per posting for 30 days, instead of the 7 days for free. For our small business clients, StraightFire has decided to test this out with a few initial postings. What we like: It deters SPAM and those less experienced/serious in their fields to post. That means less competition. We noticed very few postings this morning for Logo Design as an example. What we don't like: Craigslist new rule is vague with it's details. Will we be charged $5 every time we re-post to stay at the top of the page within the 30 days? Will we continue to be pushed down each day as new listings are posted? We will see.
