I spent the first day in shock, the next couple trying to find the words, and couldn't post yesterday because it was April 1st. On March 28th, Johnnie Russell passed away. He worked for our family for 40+ years. He was my teacher, mentor, and friend. I will forever remember his bee knowledge, stories I heard so many times, and that guy in the vest who would always say "Hi" to me when I was a kid. I will miss the laughing and the yelling. He also used to hang up too quickly, usually before I could say, "Goodbye." And now he's done that again. Although we shared the same last name, we were not related, but he will always be family. I will miss you, John. Please pray for his family left behind as they deal with the sudden loss. - Philip Russell
