This picture, from St. Louis, Missouri's first Earth Day in 1970, shows people wearing masks and demanding clean air. Today, 50 years later, air pollution is STILL an issue. This matters because air pollution is a cause for respiratory problems and illnesses!

DID YOU KNOW that today is ARBOR DAY?! aka tree appreciation day! Here are a few things that trees do that we probably take for granted: 1) provide wildlife habitat 2) reduce storm water run-off 3) take in CO2 + improve air quality... May we hope to be as resilient as trees are!

Earth Day may be over, but we hope your care and concerns for this planet of ours extends beyond just Earth Day! We're not done celebrating either--this week is also National Park Week!
