Obon season is coming! We will play at Lodi Obon on Sunday evening, June 30th. Then the Cortez Obon will be the evening of July 6th. Our big event at the Stockton Buddhist Church Annual Bazaar and Obon will be Saturday August 3rd. We'll be on stage at 2:30pm. Join us!

Stockton JACL has partnered with the San Joaquin Genealogical Society (SJGS) to offer a special family history event. Join us on Saturday, April 27 at the Stock...ton Buddhist Church for "Finding Your Nikkei Roots in the U.S. and Japan," presented by Linda Harms Okazaki. Please see the attached flier and registration form for complete information. Registration for this event is now open. Stockton JACL members must use the attached paper registration form to receive the discounted registration. Non-members may register for the seminar using either the paper form or by visiting the SJGS website: sjgensoc.org. Sign up soon; space is limited to 60 attendees!

2018 Walk to End Alzheimer's. We were honored to play at the start of this great event to raise money and awareness for this cause. And there was a photo booth!

Our Annual Bazaar is Saturday and Sunday August 4th and 5th. Come watch us play taiko on stage at 2:30pm on Saturday and buy some food and drinks to support the Buddhist Church of Stockton. Here are photos of the program. We are getting excited about it!
