Thanksgiving hike with family .

I took perfectionism up to the top of the Mountain today and left it there. Perfectionism = A disposition to feel that anything less than perfect is unacceptabl...e ... Wow I want to be perfect in everything I do and no less. I can be so hard on myself. As I rolled out of bed not brushing my hair and got dressed to go on our hike that I needed so badly. As we started on our hike I had a heavy heart. I could feel physical heaviness on my shoulders. I could have been fine with the heaviness all around me and on me because that is my normal if I let it be. So as I started up the hill thankfulness started up rising in me just that fact I made it . The night before I didn’t fall asleep until 12 midnight and that alone could have been an excuse for me not to go on my morning hike. I can see my growth. My thoughts in my head are not controlling me... So today as we approach the top I hear a small voice saying leave Perfectionism up here. Put your concerns in my hands and I know you heart is to do your best. So Reflecting on all the Beauty that was around me. I sat in Silence. Handing over all my worries and my Opinions. Giving it to God and knowing he knows my heart in everyone of my action. Bad or good and he will lovingly love me through everything I do. So as I gave my yesterday and my Tomorrow to God. I could feel my shoulders get lighter. I prayed God what are you giving me In exchange ... I give you God my Perfectionism, worry ,anxiety, and lack of sleep. He give me peace right away. Peace beyond any understanding, the beauty around me and eternal friendship with my God and my friends on Earth to name a few big ones. Go in peace. For the God that sets you free is free in deed... Made it to the top of the mountain today!

We are once again offering our Mindful Desert Yoga Hike as part of Airbnb Experiences You can now book an outdoor Yoga Session with us at the top of the mount...ain as we practice overlooking the Coachella Valley. We offer early morning Hikes for the early risers and afternoons so we can practice as the sun sets before us Gather a group of friends, or family members and book this experience on Airbnb or our website.
