In honor of Red Ribbon Week, our Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, American Heritage Girls, Girl Scouts, and other Scouts were invited to wear their Scouting uniforms to school today. The Scouts helped lead their fellow students in the National Red Ribbon Drug-Free Pledge and the Pledge of Allegiance. #StSerraSafe #SerraStrong

We would like to congratulate Scarlett L. and Audrey M. (pictured here with Mrs. Reiss and Mr. Tolzda) for receiving the William H. Hannon Memorial Scholarship last spring! Each year, the Hannon Foundation conducts an essay contest for over forty Catholic elementary schools. Fourth grade students visit the Missions, conduct research and write essays about the life of St. Junipero Serra. Two outstanding essays are selected from each school, and the winning students are each awarded William H. Hannon Scholarships toward their fifth grade tuition. In addition, each school receives a grant for tuition aid or computers. We're so proud of you both!

During yesterday's first SerraVision broadcast of the school year, our Tuesday crew asked students around campus what they were thankful for. We are extremely grateful to our St. Serra community and hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Kindergarten's longtime Fingerfeast tradition looked a little bit different this year, but students enjoyed eating their Thanksgiving lunch (brought from home) with their classmates. We are thankful for all our Kindergarten parents, teachers, and administration for making the Kindergarten Finger Feast a success!

Today, St. Serra celebrated our first school mass with all four of our parish pastors from St. Kilian Catholic Church, Santiago de Compostela, Holy Trinity Catholic School and Solano Catholic Church. Our fourth grade class planned and attended mass in-person while the rest of our school community tuned in via Zoom.
