This Sunday, we are celebrating the fact that our congregation has been graced by God for 120 years. We thank God that we have been graced - given many blessings in our past. A multi-generation celebration with the next generation in mind.Invite your family and friends. All welcome! We celebrate this historical mark with the pandemic issues in mind. Our celebration is therefore made with adaptability. We hope to see old and new friends from our Church and school. Here'...s what we have planned! Let the Son shine this Halloween! Even though we are unable to do the Sonshine party this year, that won't stop us. We will be distributing candy bags as a Christian witness and invitation to our Worship and Sunday school. Please donate individually wrapped candy at the office by 12pm October 23. Saturday the 24th at 9:30am we will be filling the bags to have them available to pick up on Sunday the 25th. Please see Sara Gonzales or contact office to help volunteer to fill bags. This is a great opportunity to reach out to our neighborhoods.

Sunday we will be Bustin into the Future, the conclusion of the series Stressbusters. Only fitting to have our Stressbusters friends come back to close our series. Cuz, who you gonna call? All Worship services are recorded for your convenience and posted on our website.

Each year St. John's gives shoeboxes filled with gifts to Samaritan's Purse, for Operation Christmas Child. We are starting to collect shoeboxes now until November 15th. Cindy Terrell has plastic boxes available. Directions on how to pack boxes are available on samaritanspurse.org. This is an amazing opportunity to spread the Good News and Great Joy.
