Faculty Spotlight: Karen Travis, Professor of Law. Ms. Travis has practiced law for over 20 years and uses her real-world experience in medical litigation, civil rights, and education law to prepare students for the California Bar. Prior to joining the St. Francis School of Law family, Ms. Travis taught for both an ABA-accredited Paralegal Studies program and another distance-learning law school. The Supreme Court’s 2020-2021 term promises to be an important season for arguments, decisions, and Court composition. In this webinar, recorded on October 5, 2020, St. Francis School of Law Dean Greg Brandes provides a look at some of the most important cases to be decided during the upcoming Supreme Court term and considers the potential change in Court composition, owing to the passing of Justice Ginsburg.

One study tip for students earning their law degree online is to find a designated place where you can study.
