Attention youth families!! We did send out an email in regards to possibly getting the youth leagues started back up again. If you did not receive the email or are interested please let us know. We can’t wait to see all of you and get back to bowling soon!!

It’s back!!!!

The California USBC Association Board of Directors met on 9/29/20 and have made the following decisions: The 2021 Adult State Championships to be held at Fore...st Lanes has been cancelled due to the unknown future of the centers re-opening and the unknown capacity that the centers can hold once they do re-open. The 2021 Pepsi Youth Championships will be District (March) and State Finals (May) only. League level qualifying is removed. Only current California youth that are entered in a 2020-21 USBC certified league can participate. Youth Directors will be emailed a tournament packet by November 1st and hard copy packets by December. If centers are still closed by February 1, this event will unfortunately have to cancel. All other CUSBC events will be addressed next year. We thank you for your commitment to our organization, value your membership, and look forward to seeing everyone out on the lanes very soon.

ATTENTION Parents, Volunteers and Coaches, if you are interested in learning to teach the fundamentals of bowling USA Bowling is offer a FREE Virtual Coaching seminar for Northern California on Sunday September 20, 2020 from 10am - 1pm. Unfortunately with the state of everything going on right now All Star Weekend has been cancelled. We will be coming up with a plan to present everything and honor all of our All Stars and Scholarship Recipients soon and will keep you informed! Stay safe!

Over the weekend we had another one of our graduating seniors make it official. Tyler Betz will be joining the Red Hawk Men’s bowling team at Martin Methodist College this fall. Congratulations Tyler!! Your continued dedication and hard work have paid off greatly. We look forward to seeing what you will accomplish in your future endeavors!! Go Red Hawks!!

Please Share: This years Hillman Memorial Scholarship Tournament has now been postponed indefinitely. NOT necessarily canceled. I want to run the event! I’m ...fairly certain the youth and their families would like some of the $50,000 in scholarships that were to be awarded at the event. I had rescheduled from Memorial weekend to August 8-9 in hopes that we would be open and running at capacity. Unfortunately, those of us in Alameda County have no idea as to when we will be allowed to open. I will check with my YBT team and possibly try to run a weekend event August 8-9 so that our college bound youth can get in an event and see some friends before leaving for school.

Today one of our graduating seniors made it official. Saralyne Nassberg will be joining the Lady Hornets bowling team at Delaware State University this fall. Congratulations Saralyne!! Your hard work and dedication has definitely paid off. We cannot wait to see what you will accomplish in your future endeavors!! Go Lady Hornets!!

For those bowlers who are planning to bowl this year's Hillman Memorial event. The event has been postponed due to Covid-19. Our NEW TENTATIVE date is August 8...-9, 2020. I am hoping we can get this event in before school starts back up. Please share. I have reached out to all team captains or bowling centers through text, emails and/or Facebook.
