Turntable Tuesday Tip: An often overlooked but critical condition for optimal turntable performance is for it to be level. Some turntables have feet that can be adjusted, otherwise the turntable or the surface it is on can be shimmed. Be sure to remove the protective mat from the platter and place the level as close to the spindle as possible when adjusting. It's a good idea to check for level at least once a year.
