UPDATE from our Preschool Director Andi Sigmund: Dear Parents and Prospective Parents: Good news! Due to the downward turn of COVID-19 cases, we are planning to re-open on Tuesday, April 5 after Spring Break.... We will be abiding by all of the recommendations of the CDC and local health agencies to keep everyone healthy and safe. Class sizes will remain small and students will stay within their own pods. All students, teachers, parents, and visitors will be required to wear masks. In order for us to plan, please e-mail me by March 15 that your child plans to return or begin pre-school. Stepping Stones Preschool Board is looking for new members! School board members commit to one or more years of service on the preschool board, attend and participate in one meeting a month (usually the 3rd Monday of the month), help make important decisions regarding the managing and finances of the preschool, manage fundraising campaigns, and assist in the marketing of the preschool and recruitment of new students. Good Morning Stepping Stones Preschool Families: We have an update about our current re-opening plans. While we had hope to reopen mid-January, the renewal of our region's stay at home order and the current spike in cases in our county, has led us to make the difficult decision to postpone our re-opening until further notice. ... Your Preschool Board will meet again mid-January to reassess the situation. We will keep you updated as we meet. Thank you for your understanding. We are looking forward to a day when we can all return safely.

Hello Stepping Stones parents! As we get closer to the beginning of the new school year our board members are facing some very big decisions and they need your help! We have been working very hard and have come up with some great ideas to keep our students safe while still being able to provide the amazing learning environment that Stepping Stones is known for. ... Before we make any further decisions or plans, we’d like to hear from you. A lot of what we are discussing varies based on the number of possible children in each classroom. If you would be interested in the possibility of Stepping Stones reopening in the fall and would feel comfortable sending your child, please comment below and list the age of your child. Will they be in our 3 year old class or 4 year old class. Getting a possible headcount will help our board members better prepare to make the hard decisions we, and so many others, are facing today. Last call! Reminder that your four year old has crafts and memory books to pick up from Stepping Stones Preschool. You missed the drive thru but teachers will be cleaning the classrooms TODAY TUESDAY JUNE 2nd, from 9-12. Feel free to come by and pick up those items! Thank you and have a great summer!

This Wednesday from 10 A.M. to noon. Don’t forget to come by our drive thru parade so your kiddos can say goodbye to their teachers and pick up the last of their work.

In a previous post we quietly announced that Mrs. G is retiring... but we'd really like to announce it loud!! If you were one of her students (past or present), or parent of one of her students, and are willing, would you message us photos of the two of you? We will post the video/slide show next week. It saddens us all at Stepping Stones to announce that we will not be offering our summer program this year due to the Coronavirus and social distancing orders.
