Pretty great right?! The act of dancing encourages kids to experiment and find different paths to solving problems. We believe it is essential in a child’s personal development that they learn the importance of trial-and-error and that, if at first you don’t succeed, try and try again. The sense of success and accomplishment they will attain when they have mastered a complicated movement will encourage them to transfer this ambition into other aspects of life. In a continuous effort to keep the health and safety of our dance families a number one priority, we use medical grade UV-C lights as well as industrial air purification systems in all of our dance rooms. From a health and safety standpoint and combined with our rigorous sanitization standards and strict social distancing measures, we feel this extra layer of protection regarding air filtration and purification will keep our dancers safe and continue to provide a healthy environment to thrive.

Today we get to highlight our teacher, Katie Guilbeaux! Katie's favorite color is orange and what she loves most about teaching is watching the journey of her students and seeing them progress in their technique, musicality and confidence. 5 fun facts about Katie:... She has 2 cats Loves Disney characters Wanted to grow up to be a country singer or fashion designer Has been a Step 2 This dancer since 2002 Nickname: "Big Katie" or BK because she was 1 of 3 Katie's on the dance team and was the oldest We love you Katie and are so thankful you are a part of our dance family here at Step 2 This Dance Studio!

Our studio has invested in industrial, hospital grade UV lights and an air filtration system in each of our studio rooms to keep our dancers healthy and safe.
