A BIG welcome our newest SPV Couple Lindsey and Micah!! We will be celebrating their wedding on June 5th this year!!

Bella's brothers were both former students of mine and now she is expecting a little boy in April. Life just passes so quickly...

We made it to 2021! Yay!! Today I am setting goals and looking forward to what this year has in store. I certainly hope it is better than last year, which I had a lot of high expectations for, this time last year. As I plan out the year I wanted to be sure and let you know about upcoming sessions you may be interested in. My availability is limited so you'll want to be sure and get on my calendar if you want one of these sessions! Blossoms will be here before we know it! If... you'd like a family session, milestone session, or senior session in the blossoms, let's get it scheduled! A lot of seniors want their sessions in the spring. If you have a senior and want FUN and NATURAL portraits, not the stuffy studio kind, let's get it on the calendar! If you got engaged over the holidays, let's book your engagement session!! If you love your images and want to book your wedding with me, I will refund the session fee! If you had a 2020 pregnancy, you're going to want to document that bump! I have great locations for maternity sessions but the blossoms are my favorite! Hope you all are having a wonderful start to a much needed new year! Can't wait to see you!!

Tonight I got to do an adult cake smash birthday session and it was the most fun! If you have a milestone birthday coming up, let's plan a fun cake smash session for you too because now you CAN have your cake and eat it too!!

Isha asked to have her senior session in a record store for a retro vibe and I was SO down for it. Here are just a couple of my favorites. I am so excited to announce that Erica and Pablo have officially joined the SPV family!!! They were winners of a free engagement session I offered a long time ago and they decided to let us be with them for their wedding. They are getting married in November and we cannot wait to celebrate with them. This year has been so hard for everyone, but they really had their share of trials. It will be nice for them to get to end the year with a happy ending!

Victor and Daniella's wedding Saturday was the sweetest!! He adores her and was beaming all day! You could tell he was so proud to marry her.

Photographing my first wedding of the year today!! It is a small elopement for the cutest couple. I can't wait! It has been so long, and COVID has destroyed so many couple's wedding plans. It is going to be awesome celebrating them today!

This year I took the leap and took part in an international photo contest. I submitted 50 images that were voted on in 12 rounds against over 500,000 other images submitted by photographers around the world. Here are the images that placed. I am so glad I took part in this. It has inspired me to push myself even more and try to place even higher next year! I took screen shots of the images that placed so the quality is poor.

FIRECRACKER: Since yesterday was the 4th of July, let me introduce you to this little firecracker, Anna, mom to one of my best friends. She contacted me about doing a session, just for fun. I was surprised because she never wants her picture taken so I jumped on the idea! We met at a small park by my friend's house. Right away she started telling me about the things she is self conscious about...wrinkles, her neck, her age.. She even said she looked up ways to pose for older ...women. I told her to trust me, that I would make her look her best. We had a hilariously good time together, cracking jokes and poking fun at each other. I got some great natural laughs from her. She said she only needed a couple of images, but anyone who knows me, and how I run my business, knows that is impossible, I don't do just a few images...you get your money's worth for sure! I delivered her gallery the same night and she was thrilled with everything! She sent me a message saying, "I am impressed!! I love them! I knew if I had you do them they would be good!" That is such a great compliment! ENGAGED:: we took a trip to Carmel for Padei and Chee's engagement session. It was a cold, overcast day but we had so much fun despite the disappointing conditions. They met while working at a local casino. Chee was a cook and Padei a baker. Their November wedding will be at Ducey's Bass Lake Resort.
