. ASH WEDNESDAY / MIERCOLES DE CENIZA FEBRUARY 17, 2021 We invite you to come begin our Lenten Journey together. It will be outdoors in the parking lot. Please remember to bring your face mask, maintain social distancing and bring a chair if you wish to sit down. Ash Wednesday is a day of Fasting and Abstinence. Fasting means we can eat one regular meal and 2 small snack-like meals. Abstinence means we cannot eat meat (N...O chicken, beef nor pork). Every Friday of Lent is also a day of abstinence. Liturgy with Ashes / Liturgia con Cenizas 9:00 am & 3:30 pm Mass with Ashes / Misa con cenizas 5:30 pm All Bilingual / Todo Bilingüe Los invitamos a venir a comenzar nuestra Jornada Cuaresmal juntos. Será al aire libre en el estacionamiento. Por favor recuerden de traer su cubrebocas, mantener el distanciamiento social y traigan su silla si gustan sentarse. El Miércoles de Ceniza es un día de Ayuno y Abstinencia. Ayuno quiere decir que debemos comer solamente una comida regular y las otras dos comidas deben de ser muy pequeñas. Abstinencia quiere decir que no debemos comer carne (NO pollo, carne de res ni carne de puerco). Todos los viernes de Cuaresma son días de abstinencia.

. MASS CANCELLED / MISA CANCELADA Since it is so cold in the mornings and Mass attendance at the Sunday 7am Mass has been declining, it was suggested that the Mass be cancelled. Father Alex has agreed so as of this Sunday, January 10, there will be no more 7am Mass. Father Alex invites the 9 parishioners that attend the 7am Mass to come to the Sunday 9am Mass that is also in Spanish. By cancelling the early Mass, we are trying to protect our parishione...rs and our pastor from getting sick being outside in the cold weather. All the other Sunday Masses remain the same: Saturday 5:30pm English; Sunday 8am English and 9am Spanish. As the weather changes, we will again modify the Mass schedule and will inform you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dado que hace mucho frío por las mañanas y la asistencia a la Misa de las 7am del domingo sigue disminuyendo, se sugirió que se cancele esta Misa. El Padre Alex accedió, así que a partir de este domingo, 10 de enero, ya no habrá Misa de 7am. El Padre Alex invita a los 9 feligreses que asisten a la Misa de las 7am a que vengan a la Misa de las 9am que también es en español. Al cancelar la Misa temprana, estamos tratando de evitar que se enfermen nuestros feligreses y nuestro párroco por estar afuera en el frío. Todas las demás Misas dominicales continuan al mismo horario: Sábado 5:30pm Inglés; Domingo 8am Inglés y 9am Español. A medida que el clima cambie, modificaremos de nuevo el horario de las Misas y les informaremos.
