WPS Deputies arrested 34-year-old Waterford resident & CDCR parolee Daniel Reagan yesterday, December 30, 2020, during the course of a traffic stop near the intersection of Bentley St and B St at about 3:30 in the afternoon. While the initial stop was for a minor vehicle code violation, he was found to be riding with fellow 35-year-old Waterford resident & Stan County probationer, Nicholas Mitchell. The passenger was wanted for an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant, whi...ch he was ultimately cited & released for. Mr. Reagan, however, had bigger problems to face when a search revealed he was in possession of hypodermic syringes, heroin, methamphetamine, packaged & processed marijuana, along with scales, packaging materials & a pipe for ingesting it all. Reagan was taken to jail but was emergency zero-bail eligible & soon released from the jail before going to court. #KeepingYourCityStreetsSafe

Christmas came a few days early to the Gonzalez Family, who dropped by our offices this afternoon to receive children’s gifts collected & donated by members of the local Waterford community. Through the generosity and holiday spirit of those with the Waterford United School District, & the folks at Love Waterford, we were able to provide toys & gift cards to their children at a time when so many are in need. Our crew wishes you a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year & a joyous holiday season.

The local US Post Office located at 30204 Floto St in La Grange was recently burglarized between Sunday, December 20, 2020 at approximately 2:30 p.m. and today, Monday, December 21st at about 6:30 a.m. by an unknown responsible party. Many packages were stolen and roughly $10k in damages to their facilities were reported.
