Kurosawa Double Feature Both starring Toshiro Mifune Fri-Sun (Feb 28-Mar 1): THE BAD SLEEP WELL (1960) at 7:30 (plus 2:30 Sat/Sun); and HIGH AND LOW (1963) at 4:55 and 9:55.

The Stanford Theatre Foundation presents two special screenings at this year's Cinequest Film Festival, at the California Theatre, 345 S 1st Street, downtown San Jose. Friday March 13 at 7:00 PM - Douglas Fairbanks stars in THE MARK OF ZORRO (1920), preceded by Buster Keaton in ONE WEEK (1920), with Dennis James at the Wurlitzer organ. Saturday March 14 at 10:00 AM - Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, in spectacular 70mm.... Screening at the California Theater in San Jose; tickets may be purchased online at www.cinequest.org, or in person at the California Theatre on the day of the show.
