This is just for fun Please drive carefully and put your hazards on if you are going slow enough. This is my first time ever doing anything like this, so please forgive any mistakes I may have made. I hope this brightens your nights and you can have some fun with it. Today, our dreams came true! We finally lit up our very own and very special covered bridge! What a wonderful day in our community. We are so thankful for everyone's help today! Thank you to Chief Crowell and SSPD for the road block and support, SS CSD for their support, SSPD's volunteer crew, Papa's House for feeding us, Dave Cox & John Stillman for hanging the high stuff and working the lift, but most of all Richie Brown from Tehachapi Lawn & Garden Equipment for donating... the lift to make this all possible! We couldn't have done this without the lift and we so appreciate you helping us light up our community. Dean Markham from Monument Insurance for his donation towards lights! And also, for ALL of the volunteers for helping us get to this point and so many more unmentioned people! Diego Rodriguez for getting all the lights for us last minute, Nicholas Cunningham for helping me from a distance and Vanessa Stevens for working by my side to make this happen! We got our sweatshirts and t-shirts in!! They will be available at the Stallion Springs General Store on Thursday. The profits for these goes RIGHT back into the community as part of our non-profit fundraising efforts.... Hello community Our non-profit organization is planning to order MORE SWEATSHIRTS!! We know many of you have been waiting for this! We are just as excited as you all are. ... Disclaimer: We were ripped off by the last business we used and he gave us terrible products with bad ink that faded after the first wash, he also would not return our phone calls or emails unless we disguised ourselves as another person. He also never shipped us the last of the camouflage hoodies with orange ink and he still hasn't given us our money back for those. Which is very frustrating because these were supposed to be a fundraiser for our community projects fund. So we have lost a lot. That being said, we are going with a new printer, very reputable and much closer. And we want to know what you all want? More t-shirts?? Some new hats?? More sweatshirts?? We want your opinions! Izaack Ryder graduated this year from Valley Oaks Charter School Tehachapi, with honors! Izaack plans to attend Azusa Pacific University and has plans to join the FBI! Izaack has been a CERT member in our community since he was a freshman in HS, he has volunteered many hours to our local senior citizens, Stallion Springs Community Church and was the Robotics Club President at VOCS! Mum and Dad are so very proud of him, as are we here in Stallion Springs!

Good evening Stallion Springs, In case you didn't hear the commotion, see the posts, or in some other way hear... you all really came through big time in the #pandemic2020, you all (and some generous folks outside stallion) donated $5,508.87... yes you read that correctly!!!! Due to your generous donations we were able to award each qualified applicant $1,000 each, this has been the most successful year for scholarships and it couldn't have been done without you. Today many m...embers of the community including Stallion Springs Police and Kern County Fire participated in a stars and stripes laden congratulatory parade around the community to congratulate and award the recipients with their certificates. The group also made a couple extra laps in hopes that your graduate could feel the love as well! I'm blown away, to the point of nearly tears on several occasions at the response, cheering, honking, and just sheer beauty of our community and it's residents. We certainly are #stallionstrong and will not allow anything to break our wonderful community! Good Day Stallion Springs Residents As you all know the Covid-19 pandemic has affected many. These effects are broad in spectrum not selective of age, social standing, or really any other factor. One specific group that is on the minds and in the hearts of many is the High School Graduating classes of 2020, these students have worked hard to get here, for most the pinnacle of their student lives thus far, cut short by something completely outside of anyone’s control. ... For many years the Stallion Springs Property Owner’s Association has been given the opportunity by you, our beautiful community, to bless multiple local students with a $1,000 dollar scholarship to help them along in the next chapter of their lives. Some of you may remember the Scholarship Fundraiser dinner dance and silent auction, this event was always a huge success and we like to believe that a big factor in it’s success was the cause. It was not uncommon for you all to gift these students several thousand dollars after expenses. This year like many things there will be no scholarship fundraiser in light of current events. Fortunately, we’ve maintained enough reserves in that account to provide one scholarship here’s where you come in! We are expecting around eight applicants and some of the applications have already came in! We would love to bless as many of those applicants with your gift as possible! If you are able to stand in the gap for our community via a donation please make check or money order out to Stallion Springs Property Association, in an attempt to provide comfort that your donation reaches only that fund and that total transparency is easily given we will not be accepting cash donations.
