St. Paul's Child Care Program

To help out our employees who care for our seniors, we are now offering child care services! "Once my husband and I learned that our daughter's school was clos...ed due to COVID-19, we were concerned and uncertain about how we could continue to work our full-time jobs and care for our children. We do not have any family in the state, so family assistance was not an option. With the help of St. Paul's, our daughter is well cared for, and we are both able to continue working to provide for our family. COVID-19 is a global pandemic that is particularly dangerous to the elderly and medically vulnerable. As an employee, I feel thankful that because of the child drop-in supervision, I don't have to worry about making sure that my daughter is safe and being well-provided for. I can continue to care for our seniors during their greatest time of need. This service has been integral in alleviating a significant amount of stress for our family." - Olivia, BSN, RN-BC

We feel that reading is essential for people of all ages to keep learning and growing. We love to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday since he is from La Jolla! Our Intergenerational Program was started at St. Paul’s by Mrs. Wilson, as she believes in the power of bringing children and seniors together as it is mutually beneficial. She recently celebrated 30 years as CEO at St. Paul’s, and during her time, she has brought so many new and great things to the organization like the Intergenerational Program.
