Martes, 10/27/2020 1, 2, 3, Adelante! Así Como Cristo Ama A Su Iglesia ... Ef 5, 21-33 Hermanos: Respétense unos a otros, por reverencia a Cristo: que las mujeres respeten a sus maridos, como si se tratara del Señor, porque el marido es cabeza de la mujer, como Cristo es cabeza y salvador de la Iglesia, que es su cuerpo. Por lo tanto, así como la Iglesia es dócil a Cristo, así también las mujeres sean dóciles a sus maridos en todo. Maridos, amen a sus esposas como Cristo amó a su Iglesia y se entregó por ella para santificarla, purificándola con el agua y la palabra, pues él quería presentársela a sí mismo toda resplandeciente, sin mancha ni arruga ni cosa semejante, sino santa e inmaculada. Así los maridos deben amar a sus esposas, como cuerpos suyos que son. El que ama a su esposa se ama a sí mismo, pues nadie jamás ha odiado a su propio cuerpo, sino que le da alimento y calor, como Cristo hace con la Iglesia, porque somos miembros de su cuerpo. Por eso abandonará el hombre a su padre y a su madre, se unirá a su mujer y serán los dos una sola cosa. Este es un gran misterio, y yo lo refiero a Cristo y a la Iglesia. 1, 2, 3 Preach! 10/27/2020 - Even As Christ Loved The Church EPH 5:21-33... Brothers and sisters: Be subordinate to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives should be subordinate to their husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is head of his wife just as Christ is head of the Church, he himself the savior of the Body. As the Church is subordinate to Christ, so wives should be subordinate to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the Church and handed himself over for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the bath of water with the word, that he might present to himself the Church in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. So also husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one hates his own flesh but rather nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ does the Church, because we are members of his Body. For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.This is a great mystery, but I speak in reference to Christ and the Church. Imiten, pues, a Dios como hijos queridos. Vivan amando como Cristo, que nos amó y se entregó por nosotros, como ofrenda y víctima de fragancia agradable a Dios. Que entre ustedes, como conviene a verdaderos cristianos, no se hable de fornicación, inmoralidad o codicia; ni siquiera de indecencias, ni de conversaciones tontas o chistes groseros, pues son cosas que no están bien. En lugar de eso, den gracias a Dios. Tengan bien entendido que ningún lujurioso, inmoral o codicioso, que es lo mismo que decir idólatra, participará en el Reino de Cristo y de Dios. Que nadie los engañe con vanas razones, pues todas estas cosas atraen la ira de Dios sobre los rebeldes. Así pues, no se hagan cómplices de ellos. Porque en otro tiempo ustedes fueron tinieblas, pero ahora, unidos al Señor, son luz. Vivan, por lo tanto, como hijos de la luz. Be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us and handed himself over for us as a sacrificial offering to God for a fragrant aroma. Immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is fitting among holy ones, no obscenity or silly or suggestive talk, which is out of place, but instead, thanksgiving. Be sure of this, that no immoral or impure or greedy person, that is, an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the disobedient. So do not be associated with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. Salmo del Día Oremos: Dichoso el hombre que no se guía por mundanos criterios, que no anda en malos pasos ni se burla del bueno, que amala ley de Dios y se goza en cumplir sus mandamientos.... Es como un árbol plantado junto al rio que da fruto a su tiempo y nunca se marchita. En todo tendrá éxito. En cambio los malvados serán como la paja barrida por el viento. Porque el Señor protege el camino del justo y al malo sus caminos acaban por perderlo. Amen.

Lc 13, 1-9 En aquel tiempo, algunos hombres fueron a ver a Jesús y le contaron que Pilato había mandado matar a unos galileos, mientras estaban ofreciendo sus sacrificios. Jesús les hizo este comentario: ¿Piensan ustedes que aquellos galileos, porque les sucedió esto, eran más pecadores que todos los demás galileos? Ciertamente que no; y si ustedes no se arrepienten, perecerán de manera semejante. Y aquellos diecio...cho que murieron aplastados por la torre de Siloé, ¿piensan acaso que eran más culpables que todos los demás habitantes de Jerusalén? Ciertamente que no; y si ustedes no se arrepienten, perecerán de manera semejante. Entonces les dijo esta parábola: Un hombre tenía una higuera plantada en su viñedo; fue a buscar higos y no los encontró. Dijo entonces al viñador: ‘Mira, durante tres años seguidos he venido a buscar higos en esta higuera y no los he encontrado. Córtala. ¿Para qué ocupa la tierra inútilmente?’ El viñador le contestó: ‘Señor, déjala todavía este año; voy a aflojar la tierra alrededor y a echarle abono, para ver si da fruto. Si no, el año que viene la cortaré’ . He said to them in reply, Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way they were greater sinners than all other Galileans? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did! Or those eighteen people who were killed when the tower at Siloam fell on them do... you think they were more guilty than everyone else who lived in Jerusalem? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did! And he told them this parable: There once was a person who had a fig tree planted in his orchard, and when he came in search of fruit on it but found none, he said to the gardener, ‘For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree but have found none. So cut it down. Why should it exhaust the soil?’ He said to him in reply, ‘Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it; it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down.’ Part of repentance is trying to amend one’s life.
