Who knew--according to today's San Francisco Chronicle real estate section St. Helena is 5,000 square miles!!! amazing considering the whole county is only 788 square miles. It wasn't a typo!!

We at the St. Helena Historical Society mourn the loss of our special colleague and friend, Susanne Salvestrin. She was a founding board member of our society and later its devoted president.
