Did you know in 1948 the original rodeo took place at the gill arena?! A local family opened up their personal grounds for us to enjoy rodeo! Anyone got pics of this old arena?
Beautiful day in springville today! Got some good rain last night, the green grass will be coming soon!
The Rodeo Ground’s Front Gates are open and we have limited space for livestock (first come first serve until full) as well as parking for trailers or vehicles affected by the evacuations. Those with animal needs please contact Tulare Country Animal Services as they are organizing the animal evacuation efforts. Their number is 559-636-4050 Red Cross has been a fluid situation and we suggest referring to their website for the most current information regarding their services.... www.redcross.org Remember to lock-up your vehicles and belongings as the Grounds are not responsible for personal property/livestock. Godspeed to our first responders and the incredible amount of work they have put in to protect our communities. The task ahead is daunting and as it has in the past, will prove to bring the community together in support of those effected. *the link to the Red Cross had some Kind of error and we can’t seem to remove it now. Please refer to their website directly.
