We woke today to the devastating news that our dear Julie passed away suddenly last night. Julie Chiodo @baysidevintageliving has been an integral part of our barn family from day one. Incredibly talented, Julie worked tirelessly in service to others and loved her family and friends fiercely. We learned and laughed so much with her over the years. I think if she were here, she would tell me to get up and get to work. But today, we are gutted. We love you, Julie.

Can I get a little sappy for a minute? It’s about these women. Friends, I can’t even find the words to express how much these women mean to me. Our Cowgirl team has been together a long time now, and we are a family. This year has thrown SO MUCH hard stuff at all of us, and it sure hasn’t been an easy time to own a small business. Like everyone else, I’ve had times (okay, lots of times) where I’ve pulled the covers over my head....BUT... these women?!?! These women have fier...cely worked to protect our little business. They’ve been by my side every step of the way...finding new ways to connect with our customers, new ways to engage partners, new ways to sell our things so we could pay the rent, and they’ve never ONCE complained or criticized me for the hard stuff. They’re absolutely incredible. I’m BEYOND lucky to have them, and today, I just wanted everyone to know.
