DID YOU KNOW that this week in 1955 the Brooklyn Dodgers won the pennant in record fashion? And then went on to win the World Series in 7 games over the Yankees? Dodgers pitcher JOHNNY PODRES threw a complete game shutout AWAY at Yankees Stadium in Game 7 in front of 60,000+ fans. Here at the museum we have an entire section devoted to the 1955 Dodgers Championship season, their best year before moving to Los Angeles. There are simply too many stories to tell in one Facebook post from that remarkable year! #GoDodgers
