Spiritualing was formed in response to the police brutality and policing by citizens of Black Americans that led to the murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, who represent countless others. We decided to fight for justice by organizing a space where faith and protest meet to uplift and empower and to bring about social change. Our event is happening in just two weeks and we'd like you all to reflect on how you fight for justice in your own way. ... Let us know what your action for justice is and send us a statement and picture to be apart of our campaign! Grab your tickets for Sing For Justice on the event post.

An interview with Pastor Mike reported by Berkeleyside on the current social justice movement and how all people can be a part of it. "You can keep protesting, but know that not all protests mean being in the streets. So if you feel compelled to go to the streets, join protests led by black people, people of color. Don’t join protests led by politicians and wealthy, influential people disconnected from the pain. Follow Black leadership. Follow the leaders of color who are literally waking up every day thinking about how to address these things. So that would be the first thing: stay involved." -Pastor Mike when asked 'What meaningful actions can people take now?'
