Enjoying two delicious flavors of Carne Seca from @vacadillos ... 1) Chile Lime 2) Habanero Carne Seca means "Dried Meat" in Spanish. Yes, this Carne Seca islike jerky but made with a different process. Entire cuts of meat are marinated and dried. Thenthe meat is thinly sliced after the drying process is complete. This results in a more tender product that is easier to chew.... The Chile Lime flavor has a nice balance of chile, citrus, and spices. While full of flavor, it's very mild in heat. Still, it's tastyand delicious. The flavors of lime, onion, garlic, and chiles come through. The Habanaro flavor has a little bit of heat. More so than the chili lime, but still not too spicy. It builds slightly as you continue to enjoy. It's less citrusy, but also has flavors of onion and garlic. All around, very tasty.
