Speechless is sad to announce the passing of our colleague, friend and collaborator Mikl Em. Mikl brought his vision and talent to relaunching our show in 2019 as well as a joy in collaboration and a sense of the offbeat in all things we worked on together. His kindness, talent and unique wit shall be missed. We send our love and wishes for strength to his family and his partner Danielle, and thank the stars for sending him our way.

Tonight, the show will not go on. Speechless stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, Jacob Blake, the athletes who have boldly chosen not to play in this week's games, our show staff, performers, and of course our employees. As improv thinkers, we strive to respond to the current moment and make each other look and feel good. And, while we strive to find the joy and humor in every situation, we do so in celebration, not at the expense, of our empathy or hum...anity. In keeping with these principles, we have decided to cancel tonight's live show and donate the proceeds from ticket sales to the ACLU (we will, however, honor a full refund for any ticket buyer who requests it).
