Feeding time is one of the best times to work on requesting. Think about it, you get a great reinforcer for using your words, FOOD! In this video baby is using "mas", Spanish version for "more" to request for more food. Mom did a great job modeling the expected word and allowing time for her to use it. Mom also quickly reinforced by feeding her right after she used "mas". This is an 8 month old baby. If your child is not using multiple words for social functions between 12-15 months contact us or your pediatrician for an evaluation.
