Dear Friends and Members of Spectrum Art Gallery, Just a brief note to let you know that we are thinking of you and send our best wishes during this challenging time. Your patronage and generous contributions of spirit and resources are greatly appreciated. As soon as possible we look forward to continuing our non-profit services to the community.... We also want to provide you with the latest update on the upcoming events and offerings sponsored by Spectrum Art Gallery. Out of respect for the safety and comfort of our visitors, supporters, and members we are currently closed until further notice. In accordance with the latest recommendations from the State of California and the Department of Public Health to cancel non-essential group events to facilitate social distancing, we are postponing the following events, which we will reschedule at a future date: Postponed - March 28: 2020 Print Auction & Benefit at the Fresno Art Museum Postponed - April 2: ArtHop opening of Caroline Jackson's Exhibition. Her wonderful show is being planned for May 2020. Postponed - All Spectrum meetings until further notice. Only 20 days until Spectrum's Auction at the Fresno Art Museum ! Spectrum Art Gallery will host a fine art photography auction and reception on Saturday, March 28th, at the Fresno Art Museum, with the reception starting at 4:00 PM and the live auction starting at 5:00 PM. Admission for this event is $5 (includes food, wine and other refreshments, music, and a ticket for the random drawing prizes). The auction is in celebration of Spectrum's 40th anniversary and will feature ...over 50 fine art pieces by local, national and internationally known photographers. Included among the artwork is a rare portfolio of 12 highly collectible Edward Weston photographs. Spectrum’s mission as a non-profit cooperative is to advance photography as an art form, foster understanding and support for those who create, enjoy and collect photography, and offer an accessible community space for activities and programs to meet the community’s needs. Through its programs, Spectrum provides resources for working artists and students while further developing public awareness of fine art photography. See more

ArtHop Thursday is this week! This exhibit will be a preview of the art pieces that will be offered for purchase at Spectrum’s live auction, on Saturday, March 28th at the Fresno Art Museum. It will feature over 50 works of fine art photography from local, national and internationally known artists, including a rare portfolio of 12 highly collectible Edward Weston photographs.
