We’ve had the pleasure of working with @redondoaveb for a few years now. He always has our work cut out for us on his supercharged adventure. This latest iteration of his Z features an @sohomotorsports A2A SC Kit with the use of an @vortechsuperchargers V2 Si supercharger. The nice feature of the V2 is it no longer uses a self contained oiling system but is feed oil from the engine. This adds installation time but provides consistent/constant quality oil to the supercharger. Another nice feature that has been added to the SC system is the use of a wastegate on the charge pipe to effectively use a boost controller to raise and lower boost pressures on a supercharged application. The beauty of having a Dyno to diagnose odd running conditions. On this poor RB26 we found that the lower insulator/seal used on the fuel injectors are not the correct ones. One can clearly see what happens as soon as boost is introduced. Both air and fuel make their way forcefully out of the bottom seal. #boostleak #usetheproperseal #dynojet #rb26 #gtr
