These wood-eating insects were in North America well before the Europeans arrived. In fact, there is fossil evidence of termites during the Cretaceous period, and some scientist believe that termites actually predate humans.

Hi All, We just want to let everyone know that Specialty is currently open for business and will remain so until further notice. We have received the designation from the state of California as an essential business (please see below for a copy of the letter we received). With that being said, we are taking extreme caution when performing our inspections and repairs. All employees will arrive at the said property with gloves, a face mask, and shoe covers. We are actively p...racticing social distancing with the homeowners and real estate agents, and we encourage leaving a lockbox on the property and having the house vacant at the time of inspection when the situation allows it. Please feel free to contact us for any of your inspection/ extermination needs as we will continue to operate. Please continue to practice social distancing as much as possible.
