K9s Cooper, Kona, Ranger and Hoss wishing all a happy Halloween!
Important read - Please share As we wrap up October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month - K9 Jax has a request. Please SHARE this with EVERY mom, sister, aunt, or girl you know. ... Not only does breast cancer affect our human friends, but it also affects our K9 ones too. Three years ago, K9 Kye, Elk Grove PD’s first female K9 (pictured on the right) was diagnosed with mammary gland carcinoma - canine breast cancer. After surgery and we’re certain, much love from her human mom/handler, K9 Kye is 3 years cancer free! We think you will ‘LIKE’ K9 Kye’s story but are hoping you ‘SHARE’ to support ALL our friends, 2 or 4-legged, and remind of the importance of regular screenings and check-ups
K9 Buster letting you know that you too can make it over #humpday Buster is one of the newest K9s on our unit. A positive attitude like that how could you go wrong!
Never too old to have a little FUN! K9 Ranger is taking a little test drive promoting Breast Cancer awareness month.
K9 Brace turned 4 years old today! Brace spent the day doing what he loves to do, working with his partner Ofc. Pinola. It wasn’t all work as he took some time to nibble on a glazed donut....Happy Birthday Brace!!!
K9 Hoss hopes everyone is staying safe and out of the smoke! On his days off, K9 hoss loves to go to the park, sneak down the slide, and play with his ball. Please take time out of your day to remember your Law Enforcement Officers that made the ultimate sacrifice. 15 years has passed since that tragic day in 2005.
As the 4th of July approaches, please remember that our pets are sensitive to loud noises which can cause anxiety and discomfort. If possible bring your pets inside to avoid exposure to the noises from the festivities. K9 Kona is trying out his hearing protection in preparation! Have a safe and wonderful holiday from SacPd K9 Association.
