An important message to our community from Dean Prager:

Southwestern Law School 16.01.2021

In her latest Op-Ed written for The Hill, Professor VanLandingham reflects on the best way to handle veterans and active-duty military that participated in the Capitol riot on January 6th, 2021. She says, Currently, we need civilian institutions shown to be the robust pillars of democracy that they are, with federal criminal prosecutions used to ensure accountability for last week's criminal actions. Resulting convictions will send a strong deterrent message to everyone in America, including those in uniform, that attacking our democracy will not be tolerated. Please help us reach our goal of raising $13,000 by October 23 to ensure all Hoover Elementary School students get a present this year! For the past 18 years, the Hoover Toy Drive provides gifts to every Hoover Elementary student. Each child writes Santa a letter requesting a special gift. LLSA and the Southwestern Community work hard to provide that one special gift to every one of the 625 students. The wrapped presents we provide may be the only gifts they receive this holiday season. Many students are in at-risk situations. This year, due to COVID, LLSA is only collecting monetary donations and is not accepting toys. Please help LLSA bring joy to a child this year! Donate here: http://tinyurl.com/HooverFund
