Through this program, professionals will get the opportunity to work across silos and learn about Los Angeles County's most pressing issues from subject matter experts. Under Nichol’s leadership, LADF has operated through the lens of social justice, seeking to level the playing field by investing in underserved communities. Introducing our first Visionaries Awards honoree, Charlene Thomas! Charlene is the Chief Human Resources Officer at UPS and an alum of our Leadership L.A. program. Charlene has spearheaded HR initiatives at UPS to serve more than 528,000 employees worldwide. She also has a long history of serving her community by serving on the boards of Big Brothers and Sisters of Middle Tennessee, Orangewood Foundation in Orange County, CA, and on the executive board for Habitat for Humanity.
