Hi everyone! I miss you and cannot wait to get back to work in the new year The one thing I'm so thankful for in all of this intense year with so much uncertainty and challenges is all the extra time I have had with my son! This Christmas I got all my gifts for my son from local businesses. It is so important, especially now, to show our love to all the people who put their heart and soul into their passions and make it a business!... One of the gifts I got him this year was 2 bracelet kits from MorninGloria's . and it was such a hit! He had so much fun making the bracelet, even though it was a little challenging for his 3.5yo hands. When he finished it and we tied it off into a bracelet he put it on his wrist with a look of pride and accomplishment. BIG NEWS!! Yesterday, October 20, the state of California gave the green light for personal services to resume indoors (with COVID modifications) in ALL tiers. Sonoma county has approved of this here! And that means I will be opening my doors again soon.... I will make another post and start contacting people soon! I take the health and safety of myself, my family and of course you, my clients, very seriously. I am going to take the next couple days to start preparing #souldeepsuite for services, and evaluating what needs to be done still to ensure your safety when visiting my establishment. Once I have reviewed and set a game plan in motion, I will update with an official opening date, and will open online booking. My service menu will also be new. Some services may not be available right away. I will have more on all of that in my next uodate. I will most likely be working a few afternoons and evenings to begin with. This guy is the reason for my everything! Keeping him happy, keeps me going. Even on days like today, when I have to make a disappointing update to yesterday's post. Yesterday CAMTC as well as someone from the BBC had given information that waxing and massage therapy would be included in the salon and barbers opening. Today, however, both the board and the council sent out a correction stating that the department of health services has not approved these services yet. Unfortu...nately, we are now back to square one. I am still hopeful that the opening of barbers and hair salons is a sign that I will get to open soon! It looks like we are getting closer to opening, so here's a little update! Recent clarifications to the governor's newest orders say that massage as well as body waxing can be performed now along with hair salons and barbers. However, Sonoma County's Health officer has not yet approved these services to be performed.... I am working on a plan for opening once we are given the green light. Please bare with me, as I may be delayed in my opening, depending on when that happens. Once Sonoma County's orders allow for massage and body waxing to be performed, I will update again! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the local Shelter in place order, Soul Deep Massage & Esthetics will be closed until further notice. At this time, the order is in effect until April 7th. All appointments that are booked between now and that date will need to be rescheduled. I will keep you all updated as the situation develops. As a community, we must work together to #flattenthecurve and bring this to an end as soon as possible.
