Our Green Goddess Toona Salad is one of our favorite clean and vegan salad recipes. To make, top your greens with crispy chickpeas (toss chickpeas in olive oil and smoked paprika and bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees), chopped red onions, half a sliced avocado, peppers, cherry tomatoes, and Black Pepper Toona. Toss with a creamy Green Goddess Dressing made with green herb of choice, leftover avocado, vegan mayo, and water to thin it out. Enjoy!

There are plenty of reasons why people are trending towards a #plantbased lifestyle and one of them includes...you guessed it, skin! Many people report positive changes to their skin after going vegan. Improvements with acne and eczema, having more of a glow and a less puffy face have all been linked with a vegan diet! It is thought that this is due to an abundance of antioxidants in a plant-based diet. When you switch out dairy and meat and replace with fruit an...d veggies you are massively boosting your natural antioxidants. Cutting out dairy specifically may also have a significant impact. Dermatologists often suggest patients cut down dairy or cut it out completely to resolve acne problems. The link is widely thought to be due to the hormones in milk that may stimulate oil glands in the skin. If you’d like to test out how much your diet impacts your skin, try a vegan diet for 1 month and track any changes! (photo: @weareveganuary) See more
