Crazy weather in a crazy season- but not to worry, the Lord led team Sonrise and the tents are in their upright position! It is January 31. The first month of 2021 will be complete at the end of the day. How do you feel your priorities are coming along? No matter what, it is so exciting and humbling to know that Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. He loves us! So let’s worship Him together...right... now! It is important for us to stay connected and encourage one another to stay focused on Jesus. During this season, the leadership at Sonrise was prompted by the Holy Spirit to help us stay connected by getting to KNOW the Lord through the lives of the those the He has joined together at this Body of Christ. We have had a few rainy days with some more to come, but, Sunday morning should offer a break for a bit! So let’s gather outside, under the tents at 9 am with our masks on and properly distanced AND/OR go to sonrisefallbrook.com so we can worship the Lord together! Our new series, Walking in the Light in Idolatrous Times, has us looking closer at 1 John 1:5-10. So grab your Bibles, be ready to sing praises and let’s rejoice knowing, if we walk in the light, as He is in the l...ight, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. In order to continue to grow in fellowship we need to stay connected and a great way to do that is to be in God’s word together. Next week our Scripture passage will be 1 John 2:1-11 and very soon we will be letting you know about upcoming Life Group options. Be praying for one another, the church, this nation, and the world knowing we have a Savior who listens, loves, and leads us...so make sure to plug in! God bless you all!

It is Sunday! The freshness of the new year can still be felt, yet, at the same time, there is an an air of confusion and concern. There is only one Rock of Salvation... David sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: ‘The Lord is my rock,my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold,my refuge and... my savior’ 2 Samuel 22:1-3. We are gathering at 9 am, outside at Sonrise to worship the Lord. We require masks and social distancing yet remain steadfast in knowing that we are called to hold firmly to the faith we profess, Hebrews 4:14.
