My mommy Cockateil has successfully raised her first chicks for the Spring of 2017! I am so excited because she is a very experienced, caring, protective and caring mommy Cockateil bird! This is her third!!

Aviary Update February 2017!! Surprisingly!! I discovered THREE (3) nests with with several clutches of eggs!! These in just a period of one week!! I was pleasantly surprise!! WICKED!! We'll see what happens!! It's almost SPRING!!

Happy Birthday Wendy All of us have our good days and bad days. Our loved ones with memory care are the same. But the determination of which is sometimes difficult to acknowledge because of "that individual's" ability or inability to express themselves verbally, emotionally or physically. This is where family, familiarity and consistency is very important. Celebration of life is about people, people we love being able to always participate in all our social and individual activities to the "fullest" of their capacity. Remembering always that with our help, with their families' loving assistance and knowing that we have exhausted all our "resources", our loved ones--our residents are able to perform and witness these activities joyfully, with quality of life and dignity!!
