FAST - Fairfield and Suisun Transit (FAST) Route 5 operates hourly on weekdays and Saturdays, serving Suisun-Fairfield Amtrak Train Station, Suisun City Hall, and Suisun Senior Center. The main transfer point for Route 5 is the Fairfield Transportation Center.

SolTrans continues with the Vallejo Community-Based Transportation Plan (CBTP) improvements, adding simme seats and solar lighting at Sonoma & Sereno and Sonoma & California. The CBTP was a collaborative effort started in 2019 between the The City of Vallejo, SolTrans and STA, based on input and suggested solutions gathered from residents of Vallejo on transportation gaps and challenges.

SolTrans would like to know what your transit needs are to create a plan that serves its passengers, those currently riding, and those that have had a change in how they ride. You can help by filling out the COVID-19 Service Transition Survey. Plans and feedback will be developed into a restoration plan that will be organized based on funding abilities in 2021.

SOLANO COUNTY - Caltrans Bay Area will begin pre-construction work on Interstate 80 (I-80), Interstate 680 (I-680), and State Route 12 (SR-12) Interchange near the City of Fairfield in Solano County. For the safety of workers and motorists, eastbound SR-12 at Red Top Road will be closed overnight starting at 10:00 PM on Friday, Oct. 9 until 8:00 A.M. on Saturday, Oct. 10 to install temporary movable barriers on SR-12. The work will continue on Saturday, Oct. 10, starting fro...m 11:00 PM until 9:00 AM, Sunday, Oct. 11. Motorists traveling EB on SR-12 will be detoured onto Red Top Road to connect to EB I-80. Starting the week of Monday, October 12, crews will also be closing various lanes overnight on I-80 near Red Top Road. One lane in each direction on I-80 will remain open at all times. However, motorists should expect delays.
