Join Us in Recognizing In-Home Supportive Services Care Providers in November 2020! For over 30 years, Solano’s Older and Disabled Adult Services, in partnership with the State of California and the Federal government, has addressed the needs of low-income seniors and people with disabilities. Dedicated In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) workers assist the elderly and disabled to live safely and with dignity in their homes. As the elderly population grows, the demand for in-h...ome care workers both within the IHSS program and within private pay systems will increase. IHSS Public Authority is always in need of in-home care providers for their IHSS Provider Registry if you know of a special person who would like to be listed on the IHSS Care Provider Registry, please refer them to the Public Authority website at solanocounty.com/pa to apply. Each year, H&SS joins the National Association of Home Care & Hospice to honor the millions of home care workers for the difference they make for the patients and families they serve. The Solano Board of Supervisors recognized our IHSS care providers on October 27th with a resolution declaring November 2020 as Solano County In-Home Supportive Services Home Care Worker Month. NOTIFICATION Due to the Veteran’s Day Holiday on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, the IHSS Service Desk and all County Offices will be closed. The Electronic Services Portal (ESP) and the Telephone Timesheet System (TTS) will be available to recipients and providers. ... All activity will resume to new normal operations on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
