On Monday October 9, 2017 at about 1230 a.m., SOCO PRIVATE SECURITY Officer, Frankie Arroyo-Acevedo, saw flames approaching from the North side of the Hilton Sonoma Wine Country located in Santa Rosa, CA. S/O Arroyo-Acevedo acted quickly and decisively in alerting the hotel night auditor, activating fire alarms and running door to door (while buildings were burning) ensuring the evacuation of all of the Hilton's guests - while putting his life at great risk! Former hotel manager Tony Bucklen said it best "These men deserve commendation and I will try to do this as soon as I can. Thank you for recognizing their courage and commitment to safety. Tony."
